Thank you for being here!
After graduating from high school I did not know what I wanted to do with my career. I went to a community college to get my general education. After taking all the general education I still didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I had so many ideas of what I may want to do, but could not pinpoint the one thing that I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. Here are some things that I had thought about becoming; teacher, flight attendant, physical therapist, Occupational therapist, business person, personal trainer and a missionary. I took some teaching classes, but after a year I didn’t know if I would like becoming a teacher for the rest of my life. I finally decided that I would just get a degree so I have one and have a better opportunity of getting a job. Finally, I decided to go for exercise science. At that point I figured this was a good fit because I always loved athletics and an active lifestyle. While trying to figure out my career I also had the passion to travel and do work that required manual labor. I knew that you could do that if you did missionary work. I also prayed that God would show me what he has for my life months leading up to graduation. Currently, I am finishing up my last semester to graduate in May. I decided that it’s a good time for me to take a pause to build my faith, my relationship with God and to explore my passion for life and see where God takes me.
